What I Am Thankful For
I am thankful to live in a nation where people are free to be Muslims and atheists, rather than forced to be.
I am thankful that any self-righteous prig can say nasty things about the President, and live to tell about it.
I am thankful for my friend in the Middle East who, in defending our nation’s liberties, is helping to bring similar liberties to the people of Iraq.
I am thankful for the freedom to ignore country music and Dan Rather.
I am thankful for the Internet, where I can talk about freedom in the hope that others will come to agree with me. And I can run the risk of having my own views changed by others who point out where I am wrong.
I am thankful for all these things. My life is richer for them.
